We're Rolling Out the New Survey at 2pm Today!
Wednesday Sept 26 2015Our goal is to survey every house on Crespi Drive from Cabrillo Hwy at Linda Mar Beach all the way up the hill to Crespi at Fassler.
Version 1.0 of our survey was a little clunky, focused the attention mid-block and not on intersections, and the instructions weren't clear enough.
2pm today we're rolling out version 2.0 right here.
Reporting Abanoned Vehicles in Pacifica
Wednesday Sept 30 2015Many of you have complained about abandoned vehicles on Crespi Drive or nearby.
When Pacifica Police Department (PPD) receives a complaint about an "abandoned vehicle" it typically gets tagged same day by and has to be moved or it will be towed 72 hours after the first ticket.
However, when you complain about someone living in a vehicle, PPD has a separate protocol for handling those vehicles that does not involve them being moved within 72 hours.
Additionally, unattached trailers may be on the roadway for 12 hours, while trailers attached to tow vehicles have the same 72 hour limit after first ticket.
"Slow Down, Crespi!" makes the Pacifica Tribune
Wednesday Sept 26 2015"It was a meeting where few were silent and many enthusiastically yelled out ideas to improve traffic along Crespi Drive last Wednesday."
